In this episode of the Healthcare Education Transformation Podcast, our guest Dr. Jason Silvernail dives into the importance of leadership in the healthcare industry, where change is slow and patients' needs are not always met. He discusses the traits that make a great leader, including good character, intellect, and the ability to achieve results, develop others, and lead. He also highlights the importance of being relentlessly focused on quality and the patient experience, as well as having a sense of perspective and wisdom to make the best decisions for the organization. Our guest shares his personal experience in the military and how its principles can be applied to healthcare leadership. This episode will leave listeners with practical tips on how to improve their leadership skills and make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.
