Eric Christensen, Owner of Chandler Physical Therapy & Sockdolager Wellness and Author Of the book "Breathe Better", comes onto the show to discuss his academic background, why he decided to write the book and the process of writing it, key takeaways on breathing, and much more!
Eric Christensen graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009 where he published a journal article on the effect of whiplash on the cross-sectional area of the muscles surrounding the throat as well as presenting at multiple conferences. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise Science and a focus in Sports Medicine. In practice, Eric enjoys working with all populations of patients in the orthopedic and neurological field. He has specialized in custom orthotic prescription and casting, vestibular reprogramming, and manual therapy. When not at work Eric enjoys reading, camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family (Chip, Eevee, Owen, Cora, Ashley, and now happy to add another with his new son Jude)! He is the owner of Chandler Physical Therapy in Chandler, Arizona.
